Scottie Scheffler is a two-time Phoenix Open winner, coming out on top in 2022 and 2023. The 28-year-old is top of the rankings and the clear favourite at 3.50 to win this Arizona event.

Justin Thomas has been tipped to have a strong season, and the Kentucky-born ace heads to Scottsdale as the second favourite at 12.00. Thomas is looking for his first win since the 2022 PGA Championship.

Almost half of the world’s top 20 players will feature in Scottsdale this week. Alongside Scheffler and Thomas, Hideki Matsuyama, Sam Burns, and Im Sung-jae will line up in Arizona.

Matsuyama won the first PGA competition of 2025, prevailing at The Sentry in Hawaii. The Japanese star is priced at 15.00 to win this one. Elsewhere, Burns and Sung-jae are available at 21.00, and you can get 31.00 for Corey Conners to lift the trophy.

Scheffler the Man to Beat in Scottsdale

Scheffler had a remarkable 2024, winning a host of tournaments, including the Players Championship, Masters, and Tour Championship.

Scheffler has been tipped for even more success this season, and the world No. 1 heads to TPC Scottdale as the big favourite to triumph. Having won in 2022 and 2023, we can see Scheffler making it a hat-trick of Phoenix Open victories this week.

Matsuyama has started the season in fine fettle. The 32-year-old from Ehime won The Sentry at the start of the year and is currently fifth in the official World Golf Rankings. There is good value in 4.00 for Matsuyama to finish in the top five of this Arizona event.
