Bet on the French OpenThe Tournament Contenders
The French Open is the second of four Grand Slam tournaments of the year. The 2025 edition will take place at the famous Roland Garros Stadium from May 25th to June 8th.
In the men’s edition, the superb Spaniard Alcaraz is the bookies’ favourite to win the tournament and retain the trophy. He picked up his first victory in Paris last year, beating Alexander Zverev in the final.
Alcaraz is available at 2.35, while Jannik Sinner is priced at 2.60. Novak Djokovic, who you can get at the big odds of 10.00, could be one to watch. The sensational Serb has won in the French capital on three occasions.
On the women’s side, Swiatek is the player to beat at Roland Garros. The young Pole dominates in Paris, winning in 2020, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Swiatek, the 3.00 favourite, eased past Jasmine Paolini in last year’s final. She won the first set 6-2 before thumping the Italian 6-1 in set two.
Swiatek will take some stopping, but the likes of Sabalenka (3.25), Mirra Andreeva (6.00), and Coco Gauff (6.00) have been tipped to go far. This year’s women’s edition is wide open.
Will the Holders Keep Their Crowns?
Alcaraz warmed up for this Grand Slam by winning the Italian Open in Rome. The 22-year-old has quickly become the man to beat, and Alcaraz will be eyeing up another major tournament victory in June.
Alcaraz won the French Open and Wimbledon last year, and we fancy the Murcia man to secure another Grand Slam victory. He is our pick at 2.35.
Swiatek and Sabalenka are set to rekindle their rivalry. Swiatek is the 3.00 favourite, with Sabalenka just behind at 3.25. The Polish player has been unstoppable in Paris lately, though Sabalenka won two of the three Grand Slams last season.
The fight for the title will be fascinating, but we can see Swiatek winning her fifth French Open. Take a punt on the defending champion at 3.00.
