Whitecaps to Heap the Misery on Galaxy

Los Angeles Galaxy face Vancouver at Dignity Health Sports Park this weekend. Galaxy are rock bottom of the Western Conference, while Whitecaps are flying in second.

LA are enduring a woeful MLS season, picking up just one victory from 20 games. However, they have shown a slight improvement, winning one and drawing two of their last four.

Vancouver are chasing down leaders San Diego, sitting just a point behind with a game in hand. After surprise back-to-back defeats to Columbus Crew and San Diego, the Canadians returned to winning ways with a victory at Los Angeles last week.

Despite their improvement, we can see Galaxy crashing to another defeat this weekend. Back Vancouver to win -1 at 4.40.

Miami to Secure Maximum Points on MLS Return

Montreal and Inter Miami go head-to-head at Saputo Stadium in weekend MLS action. The home side prop up the Eastern Conference table, while Miami are sitting pretty in sixth.  

Montreal have had a tough time this season, but there is seemingly light at the end of the tunnel for the suffering Impact fans. The Canada club have taken six points from their past three, seeing off New York City last time out.

Having taken part in the FIFA Club World Cup, Inter Miami have not played a league game for over a month. The Herons have won their last two MLS games, scoring nine goals along the way.

Montreal’s form has improved, but Inter Miami will fancy their chances of returning to MLS action with three points. Back the away win at 2.25.

Honours Even in California

San Jose and New York Red Bulls battle this weekend in an intriguing MLS fixture at PayPal Park. The hosts are on a great run and are the favourites to win this one.

The Quakes have lost just one of their previous ten MLS fixtures, winning four and drawing five along the way. Their fine run of form has lifted them into the Western Conference’s top six.

New York recently won three in a row but have taken just two points from the last nine on offer. Last time out, the Red Bulls scored late to claim a 2-2 home draw with Minnesota United.

Both teams are tough to beat, so a stalemate in California is a real possibility. There is good value in 4.30 for the draw and both teams to score.
