Germany and Portugal square off this Tuesday at the Allianz Arena in Munich. Julian Nagelsmann’s men are fancied to progress on home soil, but the Portuguese can win anywhere on their day.
Germany picked up 14 points from six Group A3 games, winning four and drawing two. They went up against Italy in the quarter-finals, securing a narrow 5-4 aggregate victory to progress to the Nations League Finals.
Portugal also won four and drew two of six to win their group. They finished six points clear of second-place Croatia and scored an impressive 13 goals. Veteran Cristiano Ronaldo rolled back the years, scoring six times.
Roberto Martinez’s men went up against Denmark in the quarters. After a 1-0 loss in Copenhagen, the Portuguese won 3-2 on home turf to extend the tie. Extra-time goals from Francisco Trincao and Goncalo Ramos gave Portugal a 5-3 aggregate victory.
Germany have won five in a row against Portugal, scoring 15 goals in the process. Nagelsmann’s boys will fancy their chances of making home advantage count, but Portugal will be no pushovers. The home win and both teams to score has caught the eye at 3.50.

The second Nations League semi-final sees Spain and France battle in Stuttgart. These two powerhouses are in fine form, making Wednesday’s matchup tough to call.
European champions Spain, who are unbeaten in over a year, head to MHPArena as the slight favourites. Luis de la Fuente’s troops are priced at 2.42, while Didier Deschamps’ Blues are available at 3.05.
Spain booked their place in the Nations League quarter-finals by topping League A, Group 4. They were the real deal, winning five of six and finishing eight points clear of second-place Denmark.
Spain were then involved in a thrilling two-legged quarter-final tie against Netherlands, drawing 2-2 and 3-3. The Spaniards won the shootout 5-4 in Valencia to secure their passage through to Germany.
France finished level on points with Italy in Group A2, but a +1 better goal difference saw them win the group. Without being at their brilliant best, the Blues picked up four wins and netted 12 goals. In the quarter-finals, Deschamps’ team needed penalties to see off Croatia.
Spain are the form team of international football right now, and De la Fuente’s boys should get the better of France in Stuttgart. Check out the tempting betting odds of 4.10 for La Roja to win -1.
