With the regular season done and dusted, attention turns to the 2025 NBA play-offs. There are two more places up for grabs, and the play-in games will take place this week. In the Eastern section, Orlando Magic take on Atlanta Hawks, while Golden State Warriors play Memphis Grizzlies in the West.

Magic to See Off Hawks

Orlando and Atlanta square off in an Eastern Conference play-in game at Kia Center. Magic lost to Hawks in the final game of the regular season, but they won five in a row before that.

Jamahl Mosley’s men are strong at Kia Center, and Magic recently beat Hawks on home ground. Atlanta, who have won the last three, will be no pushovers in Florida, but Orlando are the favourites.

This could be a tight play-in game, but our money is going on the hosts. The Orlando victory is available at 1.46.

Grizzlies to Prevail in San Francisco

Golden State and Memphis go head-to-head in an intriguing play-in fixture at Chase Center in midweek. The winners will progress to the final game for a place in this season’s NBA play-offs.

Warriors were in patchy form at the end of the regular season, with Steve Kerr’s men losing three and winning two of the last five. Surprisingly, those three defeats came at Chase Center.

Memphis bounced back from the Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets defeats by winning their final game of the regular season, beating Dallas Mavericks 48-34 at FedExForum. We fancy Grizzlies to win in San Francisco (3.30) and progress to the final play-in game.

Bulls to Progress

Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat meet at United Center in the NBA play-in tournament. There is hardly anything to split these two evenly matched teams in the betting, but who will move a step closer to the play-offs?

Chicago ended the regular season in ninth, winning two more games than tenth-place Miami. Bulls had a great end to the campaign, claiming six wins from seven. As for Heat, they lost four and won three in April.

Chicago are the form team and could be a tough nut to crack in front of their expectant home fans. There is great value in 2.62 for the hosts to win -5.5.
