Bet on Pacers vs ThunderThunder to Win in Indianapolis
The series is in the balance after both sides have picked up a win each. They squared off in Oklahoma City in game one, with Indiana securing a surprise opening-round away victory. Despite Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s genius, the visitors sealed a narrow 111-110 triumph to go one ahead.
Thunder were not to be denied in game two, and Mark Daigneault’s boys claimed a much-needed 123-107 victory at Paycom Center. Gilgeous-Alexander was Oklahoma City’s hero again, scoring 34 points.
In the regular season, Indiana finished fourth in the Eastern Conference, winning 50 times. As for Thunder, they secured top spot in the Western Conference after an impressive 68 victories from 82 games. Oklahoma also beat Indiana at home and away in the regular season.
On their way to the NBA Finals, Pacers beat Milwaukee Bucks and Cleveland Cavaliers 4-1 before meeting New York Knicks in the Conference finals. Rick Carlisle’s troops held their nerve to secure a 4-2 victory over Knicks to secure a place in the NBA Finals.
After finishing top of the standings, Oklahoma were many people’s picks to win the play-offs. They eased past Memphis Grizzlies in the first round before claiming a narrow 4-3 victory over Denver Nuggets. In the Conference finals, Daigneault’s boys defeated Minnesota Timberwolves 4-1.
Visitors to Edge High-Scoring Encounter
This series could go either way, though Oklahoma are still the favourites to be crowned NBA champions. Pacers stunned Thunder in game one, but Oklahoma looked much more like their usual selves last time out.
Indiana will be desperate to make home advantage count with the next two taking place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. However, even though Pacers’ home is tough to visit, we are backing Thunder to take a lead in the series.
