The Tournament Contenders

The RBC Heritage is a popular tournament on the PGA Tour, first played in 1969. It has grown in popularity, with several top names lifting the trophy.

Scottie Scheffler won this tournament last year, beating Sahith Theegala by 3 strokes. The world No. 1 is looking for his first tournament victory in 2025.

Scheffler finished fourth behind Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, and Patrick Reed in the Masters, and he will be eager to secure his first PGA Tour victory since winning the Tour Championship in September. Scheffler is the favourite at 4.00.

Colin Morikawa has also been tipped to do well in South Carolina. The 28-year-old is available at 9.00, while the exciting Ludvig Aberg is priced at 10.00. Elsewhere, you can get 12.00 for Xander Schauffele to come out on top, while Patrick Cantlay is available at 15.00.

This Signature Event is always an intriguing competition, and the battle for the trophy will be fascinating. Scheffler may be the bookies’ favourite, but the 28-year-old will face stiff opposition in Hilton Head Island.

Can the Super Swede Succeed?

Swedish star Aberg is the third favourite heading to Harbour Town Golf Links. He has had a solid season so far, winning February’s Genesis Invitational in California. Aberg also won the RSM Classic in November 2023.

On his day, the current world No. 5 can win any tournament, and Aberg will fancy his chances of taking home the trophy this weekend. We are backing the Swede to win the 2025 RBC Heritage at top odds of 10.00.

Jordan Spieth has enjoyed success in recent RBC Heritage tournaments. In 2022, Spieth beat Cantlay in a playoff to secure the crown in South Carolina. A year later, the Texas ace finished runner-up to Matt Fitzpatrick.

Spieth could be a dark horse in this year’s RBC Heritage, and the 31-year-old is nicely priced at 6.00 to seal a top-five finish at Harbour Town Golf Links.
