Germany and France battle in the second semi on Wednesday at the Kosicka Futbalova Arena in Kosice. The pair were tipped to go far before a ball was kicked, but who will book their spot in the 2025 U21 Euro final?
The Germans have been superb so far, winning three out of three to claim first place in a tough Group B. After comfortable wins against Slovenia and Czech Republic, Antonio Di Salvo’s side got the better of England in Nitra.
Germany faced Italy in the quarter-finals, and the pair played out a five-goal thriller in Dunajska Streda. The Italians equalised in the 96th minute to force extra time, but Merlin Rohl’s 117th-minute winner put the Germans through.
France finished level with Portugal in Group C but finished as runners-up on goal difference. After drawing with Portugal in game one, the French hammered Poland 5-0 and edged past Georgia to reach the knockouts.
The Little Blues squared off against Denmark in the last eight, and they were losing until the 84th minute. However, France turned the game on its head thanks to late goals from Quentin Merlin and Mathys Tel.
This semi is also tough to call, but we can see in-form Germany edging past France in Kosice. The German win and under 3.5 goals is available at 3.80.
