Alcaraz continues his 2025 US Open journey this Thursday with a second-round match against Bellucci. The Spaniard is looking for another three-set victory.
Alcaraz, who won this tournament three years ago, is among the favourites to lift the trophy in the Big Apple. The world No. 2 started his tournament with a comfortable win over Reilly Opelka.
Bellucci got the better of Sang Juncheng in an entertaining first-round match, though the Chinese player had to withdraw in the fourth set. This will be a far greater test for the Italian.
Alcaraz eased past Opelka in his opening match in the States, and the five-time Grand Slam winner should have no problems in this one. We are backing the Spanish star to win -2.5 at 1.45.
Carlos Alcaraz to Win -2.5 – 1.45
Bet on Bellucci vs AlcarazComfortable Victory for the Defending Champion
Sinner, the defending US Open champion, faces Popyrin in the second round. As expected, the world No. 1 is the red-hot favourite to reach round three.
Sinner kicked off his US Open in style, easing past Vit Kopriva in round one. The Italian dropped just four games in a dominant opening-round victory in New York. Having won two of the three majors of 2025, Sinner is looking for his third Grand Slam of the season.
Popyrin got the better of Finnish player Emil Ruusuvuori in his opening match, winning in straight sets. However, the Aussie could be on the wrong end of a whitewash in match two.
Sinner is having a sensational season, and the No. 1 seed is the man to beat in 2025. The defending champion should cruise to another three-set victory here – back exactly three sets at 1.54.

Also this week, Sabalenka takes on Kudermetova in the women’s US Open. The current world. No 1 picked up her first US Open crown last year, and the Belarusian will fancy her chances of going all the way again.
Sabalenka has yet to win a major this season, though she did reach the French Open final. So far, the 27-year-old has won three Grand Slam events, the last being the 2024 US Open. She started this year’s tournament with a 2-0 victory over Rebeka Masarova.
Kudermetova was barely tested in her opener, as Nuria Parrizas Diaz had to retire due to injury. This will be a tough test against the reigning champion.
Sabalenka has been tipped by many to retain her crown in New York, and she should sail into round three. Back against Kudermetova winning a set at 1.17.
Polina Kudermetova to Win a Set – No – 1.17
