Last week’s thrilling Texas Children’s Houston Open went Min Woo Lee’s way, with the Australian fending off the likes of Scottie Scheffler and Gary Woodland to secure his first PGA Tour victory.

Several top names are giving this tournament a miss to focus on the Masters, but the field in Texas remains strong. Ludvig Aberg, Tommy Fleetwood, and Partrick Cantlay – among other stars – are set line up at TPC San Antonio.

Aberg heads to Texas as the slight favourite. The Swede picked up his second PGA victory by winning the Genesis Invitational in February. The 25-year-old has been tipped for more success this season, and Aberg is priced at 13.00 to win in Texas.

Englishman Fleetwood is also expected to have a solid tournament in San Antonio. The Liverpudlian has picked up ten tournament wins but is still searching for his first on the PGA Tour. Fleetwood is available at 15.00 to change that in Texas.

Elsewhere in the betting, Corey Conners is priced at 17.00, you can get Cantlay and Hideki Matsuyama at 19.00, and Jordan Spieth, Akshay Bhatia, and Keegan Bradley are available at 23.00.

Will Aberg Take Home the Trophy?

Aberg could be the man to beat at TPC San Antonio this week. Before his Genesis victory a couple of months back, the superb Swede won the RSM Classic in November 2023.

Aberg faces fierce opposition in Texas, with Fleetwood gunning for his first PGA victory, and Sentry winner Matsuyama looking for another tournament win. However, we are backing Aberg to hold his nerve and take home the crown.

Conners has an excellent recent record in this competition, lifting the trophy in 2019 and 2023. The Canadian could be strong again, and there is good value in 4.50 for Conners to finish in the top five.
