Norway booked their place in the last 16 by winning Group A. The Norwegians have been superb so far, beating Switzerland, Finland, and Iceland by a one-goal margin. They are one of four teams with a 100% winning record in Switzerland.

Italy’s route to the knockouts was far more stressful. The Italians beat Belgium by a goal to nil in their opening game, but Andrea Soncin’s side have taken just one point from their last two. Despite a 3-1 loss to Spain on the final day, the Blues finished second behind the Spaniards in Group B.

Even though Norway have won three in three, while Italy have conceded four and taken one point from their last two, the Italians are the slight favourites at the Stade de Geneve. There is not much in the betting, though, with Norway priced at 2.95, and the Italy win available at 2.45.

Italy are looking to bounce back from the Spain loss by booking their spot in the last four. Getting the better of in-form Norway will be no easy task, but we fancy Soncin’s side to edge it. The Norwegians have scored eight goals on Swiss soil, so back the Italy win and both teams to score at 5.20.
