Reds to Ease Past Rivals

The Premier League weekend gets up and running with a mouth-watering Merseyside derby at Anfield. In-form Liverpool are looking for their fifth league victory of the season.

The Reds followed up their four EPL wins with a 3-2 home victory over Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League. They squandered a two-goal lead, but Virgil van Dijk popped up in stoppage time to give Arne Slot’s men a huge three points.

Everton have made a strong start to their season, winning three of their opening five league and cup matches. David Moyes’ men have taken seven points from a possible nine after starting the league season with a narrow defeat at Leeds United.

Liverpool are in red-hot form, and Slot’s troops should get the better of their rivals on Saturday. Back the home team to be winning at half time and full time at 2.08.

Blues to Take All Three Points at Old Trafford?

English heavyweights Man United and Chelsea battle at Old Trafford on Saturday. United are desperate to bounce back from the derby defeat, but getting the better of the unbeaten Blues will be a tall order.

Ruben Amorim’s men have made a slow start, collecting just four points from four games. The Red Devils crashed to a humbling 3-0 reverse at the Etihad Stadium last time out.  

Chelsea were beaten by Bayern Munich in the Champions League in midweek, but the London side have won two and drawn two of their opening four league fixtures.

Chelsea have struggled at Old Trafford in recent years, but we are backing Enzo Maresca’s Blues to edge this one. There is good value in 3.90 for the away win and both teams to score.

The standout fixture in Italy this weekend is the Derby della Capitale at the Stadio Olimpico between Lazio and Roma. Who will take the Rome bragging rights?

Lazio have made a sluggish start, suffering defeats to Como and Sassuolo. As for Roma, they have taken six points from their opening three Serie A fixtures.

The Rome derby is a huge fixture for both capital clubs, but who will come out on top this weekend? There is barely anything to split the two in the pre-match betting market, though Roma are the slight favourites at 2.62.
