Who Is The Least Attractive NFL Coach According To AI? Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid Ranks Last On Attractiveness Scale
During a busy off season for the NFL, we take a look at who the most attractive head coach is in the league according to AI – with Andy Reid coming in last place in our rankings.
Who Is The Least Attractive NFL Head Coach According To AI?
We used an AI tool (attractiveness test) which ranked attractiveness out of 10.
1. Andy Reid – 4.17/10
There are 32 coaches to chose from in the NFL and although he is one of the most successful coaches in history, Andy Reid unfortunately ranks bottom in our attractiveness test for the NFL.
At 65-years-old Andy Reid is comfortably the oldest coach in the NFL and with three Super Bowl’s he is also one of the most successful coaches in league history – so we are sure he won’t mind coming bottom of our list.
Reid earned a score of 4.17 on the attractiveness test which is nearly half a point clear of everyone else at the bottom of the list.
Although his contract is set to expire in 2025, the Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly working hard on securing Andy Reid’s job at Arrowhead Stadium for at least three more years.
2. Jim Harbaugh – 4.64/10
Coming in as the second least attractive coach in the NFL is Jim Harbaugh, who is yet to coach a game in the league for his new team the Los Angeles Chargers.
Harbaugh coached the San Francisco 49ers in a previous stint in the league, but after securing last year’s college football National Championship with Michigan Harbaugh earned a move back to the big time.
Jim’s younger brother and Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh ranks significantly higher on the attractiveness scale than the Chargers boss – who scored just 4.64 with the AI rankings.
3. Mike McCarthy – 4.74/10
The Dallas Cowboys disappointed in the postseason under Mike McCarthy last year and he’ll be even more disappointed to hear that our AI attractiveness scale has the Cowboys head coach as the third least attractive coach in the league.
McCarthy has been in charge of Dallas for four seasons now, but he is still yet to make it past the Divisional Round in the playoffs and his job could be under threat next year if the Cowboys endure another tough season.
4. Doug Pederson – 4.96/10
The final NFL coach to be ranked under 5.0 on the attractiveness test is Doug Pederson, who is currently head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Pederson has been head coach of the Jaguars for two years now after taking over in 2022. After leading his team to its first AFC South title since 2017 in his first year Pederson struggled in year two, with Jacksonville failing to make the playoffs.
After a disappointing year many were surprised to see Pederson kept on as head coach, with a lot of his backroom coaching staff receiving their marching orders following a tough year.
5. Dan Quinn – 5.22/10
Dan Quinn is another head coach who is new to the NFL ahead of the 2024 season, with the Washington Commanders picking up the former Dallas defensive coordinator.
The new Commanders head coach has been in charge of an NFL team just once before – leading the Falcons to Super Bowl LI during his five year stint in Atlanta.
Quinn earned a score of 5.22 on our attractiveness tool, which has the 53-year-old ranked as the fifth least attractive NFL coach.
6. Dan Campbell – 5.48/10
The Detroit Lions surprised everyone last year with their sensational season under head coach Dan Campbell, who is ranked just outside the five least attractive head coaches.
Our AI attractiveness tool ranked Campbell with a score of 5.48 which leaves the Lions boss just behind new Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo.
Detroit made it all the way to the NFC Championship game in 2023 but they were no match for eventual Super Bowl losers san Francisco 49ers in a close game to end their year.
Campbell’s history making season last year earned the Lions coach an extension in Detroit.
7. Jerod Mayo – 5.53/10
The Patriots parted ways with Bill Belichick at the end of last year following one of their most unsuccessful campaign’s in recent history, with Jerod Mayo taking over in New England.
Mayo scored 5.53 on the AI attractiveness test which earns him a spot as seventh least attractive head coach in the league.
After one of the bleakest New England season’s in their history last year Mayo has a lot of work to do in the off season, but already the new head coach is looking to make some headline trades.
With the number three pick in this year’s draft the Patriots are set to get a new quarterback following a year of uncertainty in the position with Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe.
8. Brian Daboll – 5.6/10
Brian Daboll’s future in New York is still up in the air after a losing season in the NFL last year, as the Giants finished above just three other teams in the NFC.
Daboll earned a score of 5.6 on our attractiveness scale which means he just scrapes in the top ten least attractive coaches in the league.
Despite being named NFL coach of the year in 2023 Daboll and the Giants continue to struggle in the league, with some of their biggest players such as Saquon Barkley leaving this summer.
9. Sean McDermott – 5.63/10
Just scraping number nine on our top ten least attractive NFL coaches is Buffalo Bills boss Sean McDermott, who earned a score of 5.63/10 with our AI tool.
McDermott is one of the most experienced coaches in the NFL with over 23 years in the league and one Super Bowl appearance on the Panthers coaching team (Super Bowl L, 2016).
Having coached the Bills since 2017 McDermott is still looking for his first Super Bowl victory and the pressure is only growing as each season rolls by.
10. Sean Payton – 5.66/10
Falling in as the tenth least attractive NFL head coach is Sean Payton – who has just struggled with a losing season in his first year in charge of Denver.
The Broncos finished with a 8-9 record in 2023 and as a result they cut inconsistent quarterback Russel Wilson, who joined the Pittsburgh Steelers ahead of the 2024 campaign.
Sean Payton has plenty of work to do in the off season if he is to get his Denver side competitive again, but he still has a lot of time until pre season begins.
