Wright to Roll Back the Years

Once the festivities are done and dusted, the action resumes at Alexandra Palace on Friday with several mouth-watering matches, including the Wright vs Wattimena matchup. Wright, a two-time world champion, is looking to book his spot in round three.

Wattimena kicked off his tournament with a 3-0 victory over Stefan Bellmont before beating James Wade by the same scoreline in round two. Wright’s World Championship journey began with a 3-1 win against Wesley Plaisier. This will no doubt be tough, but we are backing Wright to edge past in-form Wattimena.

Another Routine Victory for Van Gerwen

Van Gerwen and Dolan clash in third-round Ally Pally action on Friday afternoon. After a routine victory in his opening match, the Dutch superstar should get the better of the man from Northern Ireland.

Dolan was too hot to handle for Lok Yin Lee in the previous round, but this will be a far greater test for the 52-year-old. Van Gerwen is a three-time world champion, and the Dutchman made light work of James Hurrell in round one. Back Van Gerwen to win -3.5 here at 3.50.

Michael van Gerwen to Win -3.5 – 3.50

World Champion to Cruise into Round Four

World champion Humphries is back in Ally Pally action Friday night, as the 29-year-old faces Cwmbran-born Kenny in round three. Humphries is the massive favourite in this second-round clash.

Kenny beat veteran Raymond van Barneveld in round two after easing to victory against American Stowe Buntz in game one. Humphries started the defence of his crown with a stress-free 3-0 win against Thibault Tricole on the opening night. The champion should secure another comfortable victory here, and we like the look of 2.05 for Humphries to win 3.5.
