Several superstar names will fancy their chances of having a strong championship in Yorkshire. The experienced John Higgins, who sits third in the world rankings, could be a good choice as an outsider at 12.00.

Higgins has won the World Open and Tour Championship since the turn of the year and is in fine form. The veteran is a four-time World Snooker Championship winner and could be worth backing in 2025.
